Herpa Vickers Viscount 700 BOAC G-AMON 1/200 Scale
£69.95
The first production version of the Vickers Viscount, the Viscount 700, took off for the first time in 1950. The British short and medium range airliner was the first to replace piston engines with the more efficient and more powerful turboprop power plants. Fittingly, a model of the British-developed game-changer of its time is released in the colours of BOAC in a one-time limited edition. The “Scottish Princess” was originally delivered to British European Airways in 1954 and saw service for the British Overseas Airways Corporation from 1973.
