USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class battleship built for the United States Navy in the mid-1910s. Named in honour of the 48th state’s recent admission into the union, the ship was the second and last of the Pennsylvania class of ‘Super-Dreadnought’ battleships. During the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, Arizona was bombed. She exploded and sank, killing 1,177 officers and crewmen, an event that brought the about U.S. involvement in World War II.

Highly detailed Radio-Controlled kit represents the 1941 fit, incorporates full hull, separate deck (centre, front and rear) with engraved plank detail, highly detailed (upperworks, superstructure and weapons), fine deck fittings, searchlight’s, ranger finder’s, crane’s, catapult’s, ship’s boats, clear-moulded Vought Kingfisher floatplanes (x2), metal (gun barrels (x12), metal shafts (x4) and anchor chain), nylon wire, rotating and elevating gun barrels, working (lights, sound and smoke), photo-etch accents including (railings, catapults, cranes, smoke generator, signal yards and additional accents).
